McLaren Introduces Special Livery For 2021 Monaco Grand Prix

on

McLaren is introducing new, historic-themed livery for the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix this weekend – an orange-and-blue Gulf Oil livery that was widely recognizable in the 1960s and 1970s [albeit with Ford and Porsche cars].

Last year’s race was cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic but the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix is being held on May 23 – though will have limited attendance to 7,500 people per day for the race weekend, with grandstands to be at no more than 40% capacity.

McLaren currently sits third – after four races – in the Formula One constructors’ championship after four races, with Lando Norris also in fourth in the driver’s championship.
