Mercedes held a team meeting where they engineered an apology from Formula One-leading driver Nico Rosberg for colliding with teammate Lewis Hamilton at the 2014 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps last week. The resulting Lap Two collision damaged both race cars enough to eventually knock Hamilton out of the race completely and reduce Rosberg to the runner-up position.
Rosberg currently leads the F1 season standings with 220 points to Hamilton’s 191.
