After the first two practice sessions were cancelled by fog, drivers were finally able to get in a single practice session for the 2020 Eifel Grand Prix and – no surprise – it was Mercedes leading the way once again.
This time, it was Valtteri Bottas doing the honors ahead of his teammate and six-time defending world Formula One champion, Lewis Hamilton.
Racing Point’s Lance Stroll did not participate due to illness – not yet confirmed to be Covid-19 or Covid-19-related – and was replaced by Nico Hulkenberg for the qualifying session.
