Unless you have been residing under a very large rock for most of the week, you have probably heard about how the various automobile producing companies around the world are attempting to make your personal automobile into a moving version of the internet – making it easier for you to check your Facebook, Twitter and order pizza – all while driving or not [see driverless cars 101…though not from The Jetsons]. Our German friends at Mercedes Benz are no different and have outfitted their 2014 CLA45 AMG model with QNX [Blackberry] technology – essentially bestowing upon it the capability to perform many of the tasks your smartphone or tablet might also perform – and with touchscreen functionality. The QNX version of the 2014 Mercedes Benz CLA45 AMG will set you back approximately 55,000 American dollars.
The 2014 International Consumer Electronics Show [CES] runs through January 10 at the various locations in Las Vegas, Nevada.
