The Mexican Grand Prix along with Mexican Formula One driver Sergio Pérez have decided to jump into the political fray with a social media hashtag campaign called “Bridges Not Walls” designed as a response to U.S. President Donald Trump’s campaign promise to build a border wall between the two countries.
Perez has joined support of the Mexico City F1 track’s decision to display the slogan on banners around the world in recent weeks.
The Mexican Grand Prix is currently scheduled to be held in Mexico City on October 29, 2017.
