It’s all but a foregone conclusion that Minis will sweep the 2014 Dakar Rally as Minis continued to hold the top three spots after the 11th stage won by Argentine driver Orlando Terranova. The current overall standings have Mini-driving Nani Roma of Spain leading, followed closely [5:32 behind] by 11-time Dakar champion and Mini-driving Stephane Peterhansel and finally Mini-driving 2011 Dakar champion Nasser Al-Attiyah 56 minutes behind in third.
The lone remaining American in the race entering the 11th stage was Robby Gordon but fuel contamination issues took out his HST Gordini and he is out of the 2014 Dakar Rally.
