The new “Ghostbusters” reboot of the 1984 classic starring Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis is going with an all-female cast and that is not all they are changing – instead of using the classic 1959 Cadillac hearse [dubbed Ecto 1 in the movie], they will, instead, being going with a newer, uglier 1980s model.
Sony still owns the classic 1959 Ecto 1 as well as the Ecto 1A, a backup Caddy that was used as a parts car for the Ecto 1.
