Nissan Preps For 2023 March Madness

March Madness is officially upon the nation and will arrive full force next week with the beginnings of the NCAA men’s and women’s college basketball national championship tournaments and Nissan – which is an official tournament partner – has unveiled their “Road 2” promotional campaign [with musical accompaniment provided by Sweet’s “Ballroom Blitz”] featuring their Altima, Ariya, Frontier, Pathfinder and Rogue vehicles.

As with last year’s similar promotion, this year’s promotion also showcases some team mascots – 16 in all – along with former basketball players Candace Parker and Kenny Smith [who also participates in the popular CBS/TBS/TNT March Madness men’s basketball coverage with Charles Barkley, Clark Kellogg and Ernie Smith].

Nissan is also collaborating with social media platform TikTok for a March Madness contest where TikTok users will receive notifications to post a video of how and where they are watching the game during key moments in the tournament and be encouraged to post those “TikTok Now” moments to their Instagram account which will enter them into a sweepstakes for a chance to win tickets to the 2024 men’s Final Four game [currently scheduled to be held in Phoenix].

Additionally, Nissan is collaborating with CBS Sports [men] and ESPN [women] to offer an online bracket challenge bracket game, with prizes including four tickets to the 2024 Final Four games and a Nissan all-electric Ariya crossover.

The 2023 March Madness officially begins on Selection Sunday [March 12, 2023] with the NCAA’s tournament selections of both the men’s and women’s teams.
