While the Los Angeles Rams were busy winning their first Super Bowl for the city of Los Angeles, Nissan was busy winning the AutoSportsNation’s Super Ad Bowl as the best Super Bowl commercial among what turned out to be a fairly mediocre lot.
Touting their 2023 Nissan Z, “Thrill Driver” featured former “SCTV” and “Schitt’s Creek” star Eugene Levy as a normal person who turns into a reluctant stunt driver before morphing into a full-blown action movie stunt driver. Cameos are made by Levy’s “SCTV” colleague and “Schitt’s Creek” co-star, Catherine O’Hara, along with Brie Larson, Danai Gurira and Dave Bautista.
