Defending World Rally Championship [WRC] champion Sebastien Ogier led after the first day of the 2014 Rally Mexico. Frenchman Ogier, driving a Volkswagen, had a commanding 26.1-second lead over Swede Mads Ostberg in second place while his VW teammate, Jari-Matti Latvala, finished in third on the day, 42.5 seconds back.
Rally Mexico is the second race in the 2014 WRC racing season.
