Defending champion Sebastien Ogier leads after Day One of the Rally of Portugal, the third race in the World Rally Championship series. His Volkswagen teammate Jari-Matti Latvala was a mere four-tenths of a second behind Ogier in second and 2.3 seconds further back was Mikko Hirvonen in a Ford.
All team drivers have been instructed not to speak to WRC promoter’s television crews in a dispute involving lack of footage received by the teams from the WRC promoter.
