No – it is not the Wienermobile – but Oscar Mayer has signed on for a NASCAR limited-race sponsorship deal with Roush Fenway Racing and driver Ryan Newman in their Ford Mustang.
The debut will be, of course, at the premier race on the circuit – the Daytona 500 – on February 17, 2019.
After that, Oscar Mayer will return with the No. 6 Ford at Phoenix on March 10, Charlotte (May 26), Chicago (June 30), Loudon (July 21) and Darlington (Sept. 1).
Oscar Mayer had previously been an associate sponsor at Roush in the early 2000s and was featured on both Matt Kenseth’s No. 17 Ford and Kurt Busch’s No. 97 Ford.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
