Actor and-now director Patrick Dempsey (“Grey’s Anatomy” “Bridget Jones Baby”) makes his directorial debut with a TAG Heuer advertisement entitled “To Jack” as a tribute to Jack Heuer, the great grandson of company founder Edouard Heuer.
Perhaps more importantly, Dempsey’s homage to Heuer allows him to drive around artsy-fartsy black-and-white-style on a Southern California beach in a 1959 MGA – which is identical to Jack Heuer’s first car, given to him as a college graduation gift for being the first in the family to graduate from college – and which is said to have instilled in him the passion for racing.
