Porsche And Puma Collaborate For Fastest Shoe Release

Porsche has collaborated with shoe maker Puma for the “World’s Fastest Sneaker Release” – where Porsche and Puma are giving consumers 2.7 seconds to buy sneakers during a pre-sale event on November 16, 2020 – the 2.7 seconds are same amount of time it takes the Porsche 911 Turbo to go from 0 to 60 mph.

Additionally, Porsche and Puma will collaborate on creating a limited lineup of Porsche 911 Turbo-inspired Puma sneakers. There will be eight different sneakers, with 4,000 total available.

The shoes for the November 16, 2020 pre-sale event will be made available via a microsite where a “buy now” button appears under each model for 2.7 secs. If you can select a shoe that fast, it is added to your cart and gives customers 10 minutes to enter payment and shipping details.

Beginning the next day – November 17, 2020 – some of those shoes will be made available at Puma’s flagship New York retail store, Porsche Design (Germany) and Porsche Experiences Centers (Atlanta and Los Angeles) – for $150 per pair – and will also be available online at us.Puma.com.
