After briefly closing last year so they could begin a redesign effort, Porsche Design is reopening their first USA-based store [in Beverly Hills, no less] this summer.
The store will feature the new Porsche Design store concept – which emphasizes a minimalist multimedia approach. Porsche Design Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Porsche AG.
Porsche opened its first design store in Costa Mesa, California in 1988 and recently continued their collaboration with actor and racing enthusiast Patrick Dempsey to be the face of Porsche Design eyewear as a brand ambassador. Porsche-owning Dempsey [he owns a Porsche 911 GT3 RS], began his initial collaboration with Porsche in 2014.
