Porsche Recalls 205 Of The 918 Spyders For Defective Chassis Parts

Porsche has issued a recall for 205 of the 918 Spyder hybrid supercars it has manufactured, claiming a vague “defective chassis parts” as the reasoning. A press release says the action is a precautionary measure. The issue was discovered during in-house testing and not due to customer complaints and will take two days to fix.

Earlier in the year, Porsche had to recall 46 of the Spyders due to a potential defect with rear axle components.

Porsche built 918 of the 918 Spyders and sold out last year at $845,000 apiece.
