Burt Reynolds – aka, the Bandit from the 1977 feature film “Smokey and the Bandit” – passed away this week from a reported heart attack at the age of 82, leaving behind a litany of his good work in feature films such as “Deliverance”, “The Longest Yard” and, of course, the one starring him and a black-and-gold 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am [his personal film version of car sold at a Barrett-Jackson auction four years ago for $450,000]…
