I hope they punish Bowyer and his team (#15). But I do think that this has nothing to do with Truex, and I hope they’ll only punish the 15, and maybe MWR, but not give Truex a points penalty, and screw up his changes to win, he doesn’t deserve that.
I just read your blog post and I didn’t know how to reach you besides here in the comments. I want to let you know that I have greatly appreciated all the work you’ve done for us fans here with the racing stuff and I really hope you don’t have to call it quits. Have you considered Dailymotion, Metacafe, Vimeo, or any other video hosting site? If I can do anything to help just let me know, I would love to see this continue.
It was totally on purpose….even with the last three laps they had Bowyer and Vickers pit to purposely eliminate Jeff Gordon..and the look on dale jrs face and the way he answered he didn’t want to implicate him but still made it obvious in his actions that he totally did it on purpose…i say that because Dale Jr had the best view.
The way I see it – no matter Nascar lay down the hammer or not, heck, no matter it was intentionnal or not – the MWR guys just earned themselves, with Hendricks and Stewart-Haas, 4 out-of-the-chase cars that will make sure MWR do not win races or a champiosnhip…
at 5:48 my response to Bowyer’s comment is “sure you may have not know how it was gonna play out but you knew if the 39 won the 39 would automatically get the 2nd wild card for its 2 wins, and the 56 would be out no matter how good they finished. its that simple…”

My only hope is that Boywer has the worst next 10 races ever. Never liked him and like him even less now.
