With the laps winding down in the Honda 200 at the Mid-Ohio Speedway, Graham Rahal was sitting in third behind current series leader Juan Pablo Montoya when he came in for his final pit stop of the race. Shortly after that, a spin by rookie Sage Karam caused a caution flag and Montoya was stuck behind the safety car when Rahal emerged from the pit. The result was Montoya emerging in 12th place after his pit stop and finishing 11th with Rahal going on to win the race thanks to the fortunate [for him] circumstances.
With two races remaining on the 2015 schedule, Rahal now moves within nine points of Montoya for the lead in the IndyCar racing series.
