Red Bull has signed Dutch teenager Max Verstrappen to their junior team. Verstrappen is the 16-year-old son of former Formula One podium finisher Jos Verstrappen and currently sits in second place in his first season of the Formula 3 European Championship.
Verstrappen will compete at the Macau Grand Prix in November and then will likely compete in the Formula 3.5 Championship before moving on to a possible Formula 1 berth on Red Bull’s Toro Rosso team.
