This week in Formula One, it was a return to the scene of the crime – the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – where last year’s fiasco involving a rogue race director not following Formula 1 rules, essentially preventing Mercedes’ seven-time F1 world champion to win the race and depriving him of his official eighth world title.
Fittingly, Mercedes was fastest in the first practice session for the 2022 version of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, with Hamilton doing the honors.
