Rolls Royce Pulls Some Strings
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is featuring Charlie Siem, a violin virtuoso, to promote their styling as part of their “Inspiring Greatness” artist series.
Siem plays a particular violin – a 1735 Guarneri del Gesù known as the ‘D’Egville’ – which he refers to as “an extension of his body” and details his experiences with the Rolls-Royce during a drive through the British countryside.
The series, launched in April 2020, highlights artistic individuals at the pinnacle of their respective fields who Rolls-Royce deem are a match to Rolls-Royce’s goals.
Previous episodes in the series have included Michelin-starred chef Tom Sellers, photographer and explorer Corey Richards and media artist Refik Anadol. British writer, photographer and explorer Levison Wood is due to follow Siem in the series.
