Romain Grosjean Moves To IndyCar For 2021

Former Haas Formula One driver Romain Grosjean was dropped by Haas at the end of last season but will race in the 2021 IndyCar season for Dale Coyne Racing.

The 34-year-old Frenchman’s Formula 1 career famously ended with a fiery crash at November’s 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix which he survived after extricating himself from the car – though Grosjean indicates that his left hand is still healing from the accident.

Unlike F1 – which is dominated by one manufacturer – Grosjean is relishing the chance to be more competitive in IndyCar racing.

“IndyCar has a much more level playing field than what I have been used to in my career so far. It will be exciting to challenge for podiums and wins again,” said Grosjean.

Grosjean was able to accumulate 10 podium finishes in 10 years driving for Haas, Lotus and Renault.
