Rosberg Claims Pole For 2015 Japanese Grand Prix

With last week’s depressing – for them – results of the 2015 Singapore Grand Prix distant in their rear view mirrors, Mercedes rebounded for this weekend’s 2015 Japanese Grand Prix by claiming the top two spots with Nico Rosberg holding the pole position and his teammate and defending champion, Lewis Hamilton, alongside him in the second slot on the first row.

Last week’s winner, Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel, could only muster the eighth-fastest qualifying time and will start from the fourth row.

The 2015 Formula One season continues with the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka at 9:30 p.m. [PDT] on NBCSN on September 26, 2015.
