Rossi Takes It In The Reserve Driver Shorts For Manor

American Alexander Rossi, who drove several impressive races in the decrepit Manor/Marussia car in last year’s Formula One season, was tossed a cookie today by the team after they earlier bypassed him and selected Indonesian pay driver Rio Haryanto [and his money] for a main driving seat on the Manor team in the 2016 season.

Rossi has been named Manor Racing’s reserve driver for the upcoming Formula One season and in that role, will attend 11 of the 21 Grand Prix races this year, starting at the Russian GP on May 1, 2016.

As a primary driver, Rossi will compete in the IndyCar Series with Andretti Autosport for the 2016 season.
