In what initially appeared to be a slight chance for having the first American to participate in a Formula One Grand Prix race in seven years, Marussia decided that instead of substitute American Alexander Rossi for injured Jules Bianchi at the 2014 Russian Grand Prix in Sochi, they will only submit one car [driven by Max Chilton] in the race.
The 2014 Russian Grand Prix will be held in Sochi, Russia, on October 12, 2014.
