Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz, Jr. has been relegated to the back of the grid for this weekend’s 2021 Turkish Grand Prix after incurring a penalty for putting a new engine in his car.
Sainz, Jr.’s car is now over the permitted allowance of engine units for the 2021 Formula One season.
Sainz Jr.’s Ferrari teammate – Charles Leclerc – had to take the same penalty as last month’s 2021 Russian Grand Prix.
