Sauber And Williams Set Debut Dates For 2024 Formula One Season

Both Sauber and Williams have set dates for the unveiling of their launch plans [and presumably, cars] for the 2024 Formula One season, with each team currently scheduling to debut their plans on February 5, 2024.

Williams finished seventh in the 10-team Formula 1 world championship while Sauber finished ninth. Ahead of their union with Audi in 2026, Sauber severed ties with Alfa Romeo and will be known by the decidedly unwieldy name of Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber for the 2024 season.

Both Sauber and Williams retained their driver lineups for the 2024 season – Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu for Sauber and Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant for Williams.

Sauber and Williams join Ferrari – who earlier announced a launch date of February 13, 2024 – as the three teams to, so far, indicate the beginnings of their 2024 campaigns.

Pre-season testing begins in Bahrain in the third week of February 2024.
