Sauber Signs Up Two Pay Drivers For 2015

Facing the financial abyss that has already claimed two teams in 2014 – Caterham and Marussia – Sauber made a desperate move to stay alive for the 2015 season by ditching Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutierrez for two pay drivers, Marcus Ericsson and Felipe Nasr, a winner on the BMW racing series circuit.

Ericsson comes from Caterham and brings nearly $20 million in funding from corporate Swedish sources while Nasr will bring funding from Banco Brazil.
