Sauber Signs Wehrlein For 2017

Sauber will have Pascal Wehrlein for the 2017 Formula One racing season, essentially clearing the way for Mercedes to sign Valtteri Bottas to replace the retired Nico Rosberg.

Wehrlein makes the move to Sauber to replace Felipe Nasr [who could end up at bottom feeder Manor] and essentially clears the deck for Mercedes to sign Bottas to be top driver Lewis Hamilton’s supplicant for the 2017 season.

Williams – with help from Mercedes – has convinced Felipe Massa to delay his retirement for a year to remain the top driver for their team after they had announced their signing of F1 rookie Lance Stroll.

Official announcements for all these developments are expected later this month.
