Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel topped the second practice session for the upcoming 2019 Mexican Grand Prix as everybody [and by “everybody”, we mean the six drivers who have a realistic shot of winning the race] was driving on the soft tires.
Vettel edged out Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and his Ferrari teammate, Charles Leclerc, by 0.115 and 0.465 seconds, respectively. Mercedes’ duo of Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton were fourth and fifth with Hamilton nearly a full second behind Vettel’s time.
