Red Bull was fastest again in the qualifying session for the 2023 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix – but it was Sergio Perez who will be on pole instead of his teammate, Max Verstappen, who suffered a driveshaft mechanical problem – ahead of Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso.
Verstappen will start 15th behind the seven-time Formula One world champion, Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes as well as Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, who starts in 12th after incurring a 10-place grid penalty for taking on a new ECU unit.
