Singapore Track Man Goes Back To The Hoosegow

A fan on the track made things interesting on Lap 36 of the 2015 Singapore Grand Prix.

2015 Singapore Grand Prix interloper Yogvitam Dhokia has voluntarily returned to prison in Singapore. Dhokia, if you recall, was the Briton who squiggled onto the track and surprised ultimate winner Sebastian Vettel as he sauntered down a straightaway before exiting through a fence. The 27-year-old Dhokia was arrested and spent 10 days in jail before his parents arrived after temporarily bailed him out for $11,000. But in notoriously strict Singapore, Dhokia was charged with a “rash act” and could be jailed for up to six months. Dhokia has chosen to voluntarily return to jail in an effort to reduce that potentially lengthy jail time.

The 2015 Formula One season continues with the USA Grand Prix at Austin at 2 p.m. [PDT] on NBCSN on October 25, 2015.
