Spike Lee Pushes 2021 Cadillac Escalade Ahead Of 2020 Academy Awards

Academy Award-winning [“BlacKkKlansman”] director Spike Lee will be pushing the Cadillac brand ahead of this weekend’s telecast of the 2020 Academy Awards.

Cadillac was in Hollywood this week to debut “Anthem” – Lee’s two-minute and 14 second promotional video focusing on the redesigned 2021 Escalade. Cadillac has been working with Lee since 2013.

Joining Lee in pitching Cadillac during the promotional campaign will be Oscar-winning [“If Beale Street Could Talk”] actress Regina King, who will also be pushing the 2021 Escalade as well as Cadillac’s new vehicle line-up.

Cadillac has had good results with their Academy Award marketing efforts – receiving a 47% jump in dealership website traffic following last year’s advertising campaign which debuted four TV spots featuring the Cadillac SUV lineup.

The 2020 Academy Awards will be broadcast at 5 p.m. [Pacific Standard Time] on ABC on Sunday, February 9, 2020.
