Stewart-Haas Racing released a “bombshell” announcement that they will be moving from racing Chevrolets in NASCAR races in 2016 to racing Fords in NASCAR races in 2017. While the news was big in hyper-sensitive NASCAR racing circles, the news issued one gigantic collective yawn from the rest of the world.
Stewart-Haas Racing explained the move was necessary to separate themselves from other teams racing under Chevrolet’s banner.
