Stroll Moves From Williams To Force India In 2019

Canadian driver Lance Stroll will be moving from Williams to Force India in 2019. Stroll’s billionaire father, Lawrence, bought Force India in August, keeping the team from going out of business.

The 20-year-old Stroll will be the junior teammate of Mexican Sergio Perez.

Stroll’s two-year Formula One racing career has produced a single podium result – third place at the 2017 Azerbaijan Grand Prix in 2017 – and he also qualified fourth at the 2017 Italian Grand Prix.

Williams has replaced Stroll and Russian driver Sergey Sirotkin with British rookie George Russell and Poland’s Robert Kubica, a former grand prix winner who is returning to the top series after a rally crash in 2011 left him with partial movement in his right arm.
