Subway And Formula One Working On Sponsorship Deal

USA-based sandwich restaurant chain Subway is currently working on a sponsorship deal with Formula One that may have the company sponsoring a team, a driver and a race as they currently do in NASCAR. There is, however, also the possibility that Subway could sponsor multiple drivers. A Formula One team sponsorship is reportedly between $20-25 million and Subway’s current revenues for as late as 2012 were $18 billion.

Subway’s largest market is the USA but the UK – where many of the F1 teams are based – is second with 1731 stores in the UK and Ireland.
