Cheap hotel chain Super 8 is in the midst of re-designing their rooms [to the tune of $100 million] and they would like to capture the fleeting attention spans of today’s cheapskate consumers – and have decided the best way to do this is have a mascot vehicle – which they have dubbed the RoadM8 [a stylized 2017 Jeep Wrangler].
The RoadM8 will feature the hotel’s new bedding designs in the vehicle’s upholstery, a dashboard that resembles a nightstand, a built-in, on-demand coffee machine, custom center console mini-fridge and touch-screen entertainment.
The vehicle debuted at the New York International Auto Show where show attendees are invited to enter a contest for three free nights by taking a selfie with the vehicle and posting it to Twitter with #RoadM8Sweepstakes.
The RoadM8’s next stop will be the company’s conference show in Las Vegas where Super 8 franchisees and associates can have a look-see at the vehicle before it embarks on a multi-city tour this summer.
