The first official testing session for the teams and cars competing in the 2014 Formula One season is scheduled to occur on January 28, 2014 in Jerez, Spain and some teams will be there and some will not. The Jerez test is expected to be attended by teams and cars from Red Bull, Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren, Sauber, Scuderia Torro Rosso and Caterham. Meanwhile teams and cars from Lotus, Force India, Williams and Marussia either will not be in Jerez or have not yet announced their intentions.
The first race of the 2014 Formula One season is the Australian Grand Prix on March 16, 2014.
