For a vehicle carrying one of the name brands most associated with winter and snowmobiling, you would think the Polaris Slingshot might have had a Plan B for winter. It does not. The three-wheeled vehicle from Polaris due to be available in 2015 not only does not have a winterized model, it also has been rejected by the state of Texas, which originally gave its approval as a motorcycle but then cited its lack of a “saddle” and having the seating of a car, which was enough of a reason to unfriend the company and make it illegal in Texas.
