For some reason, Honda would like to draw attention to the fact that their 2018 Honda Clarity hybrid has a measly 47-mile all-electric range in the midst of touting a 340-mile gasoline range.
The 2018 Honda Clarity, which won the recent Green Car of the Year award at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show – but only after Tesla decided not to enter a vehicle in the competition – over the Toyota Camry hybrid, Nissan Leaf EV and Hyundai Ioniq and Honda claims the Clarity has the highest all-electric range rating of any plug-in hybrid sedan [albeit a very low bar].
