The Grand Tour Has Officially Begun [And There Was Great Rejoicing In The Land]

Now that the international nightmare of the BBC version of “Top Gear” has mercifully ended for at least a few months, we can now move on to a far more entertaining motoring show as “The Grand Tour” – featuring former “Top Gear” presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May – has officially begun.

The filming for the Amazon series’ first episode begun in earnest in Johannesburg, South Africa, yesterday and Amazon has released some pictures that will surely warm the cockles of the genuine classic “Top Gear” fans – namely, the boys sitting around a table surely insulting each other while talking about cars – and gives us a first look at the tent that houses 250 of their non-moronic fans.

“The Grand Tour” is currently scheduled to begin showing up on Amazon Prime in October 2016.
