The trailer for Season Four-opening special episode of “The Grand Tour” – featuring Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond – has arrived and it is a boat challenge in Cambodia and Vietnam.
The boys trio embark on a 500-mile river trip across Vietnam and Cambodia, in the episode which has been titled “The Grand Tour presents: Seamen” and premieres on Friday, December 13, 2019, on Amazon Prime Video.
“The Grand Tour presents: Seamen” episode has the boys selecting their choice of boats in the standard TGT manner and then boasting about each boat’s accolades and showcasing the boats in racing challenges, collisions and, of course, “unfortunate” breakdowns.
For their journey along the Mekong Delta, Clarkson has selected a Vietnam war-era Patrol River Boat [a la “Apocalypse Now”], Hammond, not surprisingly, chooses a Miami Vice-style speedboat, while May, even less surprisingly, goes with a classic 1939 wooden river cruiser.
The next episode scheduled in the fourth season of “The Grand Tour” has just finished filming in Madagascar and will premiere in 2020.
