Season Three of “The Grand Tour” has concluded and now preparations are being made for the fourth season of Amazon’s wildly popular motoring show that will be focused on road trip specials for the upcoming season.
The Middle East, however, will not be one of those destinations after a planned Saudi Arabia-to-Cairo road trip special was jettisoned due to the probability of encountering terrorist activity while filming in the region.
“This would be an epic journey, except it would mean crossing the Sinai peninsula and, thanks to ISIS, the chances of us all arriving on the other side with heads were slim,” said TGT co-presenter, Jeremy Clarkson in a column written for the British newspaper The Sunday Times.
