The new Lamborghini Centenario “only” has 770 horsepower – approximately half of that of the new Bugatti Chiron – but that won’t matter much unless you only plan on driving at the Bonneville salt flats. Meanwhile, the new Centenario still has a decent V12 that can go 1-60 in 2.8 seconds and look good doing it.
The Centenario is Lamborghini’s birthday gift to its founder – Ferruccio Lamborghini – who would have turned 100 this year had he not annoyingly passed away in 1993. Only 40 Lamborghini Centenarios will be constructed – 20 coupes and 20 roadsters – and our guess is that you will not be owning any of those, but maybe in the future you can catch a glimpse of one of someone who does at a car show or something.
