NASCAR driver and team owner Tony Stewart was racing in a sprint car event at the Canandaigua Motorsports Park during the Lucas Oil Super Sprint feature race when he became entangled with Kevin Ward, Jr. on a turn and the resulting collision sent Ward, Jr. into the wall and out of the race.
