It has been one year since the BBC launched their motoring show franchise “Top Gear” in China and although it is not overseen by The Stig’s Chinese cousin [instead by three Chinese presenters who attempt to imitate Jeremy, James and Richard], the first five episodes [out of 10 overall] are in the books and are a hit in China where they have been the top-rated show in their time slot and averaged nearly 10 million viewers per show to date.
