The new season of “Top Gear” [and we only refer to it as “Top Gear” because there is only one “Top Gear” and everybody knows what it is] is nearly upon us in a few weeks time [February 2, 2014 in the UK, most likely February 3 or 10 in the USA since February 2 is Super Bowl Sunday] and the BBC has been issuing short, sperm-like bursts of teaser trailers upon the internet.
