Turkey Trot Coming To Laguna Seca Raceway Again

Driving around the 2.2-mile Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway circuit can be hard enough but running [or walking] around it can be just as challenging. It will all be for a good cause next month though as the third annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot to benefit the Food Bank for Monterey County will be hosted by the Monterey County Parks Department and Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway for an entry fee of $10 cash or check donation to the aforementioned food bank.

Canned and non-perishable food donations will also be accepted and all proceeds go to the Food Bank for Monterey County – the area’s largest provider of emergency supplemental food. The food bank collects, stores and redistributes food to individuals, as well as nonprofit agencies that serve the aged, ill and needy. Last year’s race collected $1500.

The Third Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot at Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway will be held from 7-11 a.m. on Thursday, November 26, 2015.
