Two-Time LeMans Winner Wurz Retires

Alexander Wurz, a two-time winner of the 24 Hours of LeMans endurance race, has announced that he has hung up his professional racing wheel for good. Wurz also raced several years in Formula One, but was only able to gather two podium finishes [in 1998 and 2006].

Wurz won LeMans in 1996 – at age 22, the youngest ever to win the race – and again in 2009.
